EVENT INCENTIVES & DEADLINES

PanCAN PurpleStride wouldn't be the success it is without YOU! That’s why we are excited to recognize and reward Striders and teams who reach special fundraising milestones. Learn about these benefits and deadlines below. Thank you for your incredible passion and dedication!

Please note all fundraising benefits are based on the fundraising totals shown on purplestride.org at the time of the deadline. Please allow up to 3 weeks for mailed donations to be processed and included in your fundraising total.

Note that donations made through Facebook Fundraiser may not be reflected on your personal/team fundraising page – and the leaderboard – for 72 hours or longer due to the way Facebook Fundraiser processes gifts.


T-SHIRTS

Registered Striders who raise or self-donate $50 or more by event day will receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2025 T-shirt, available for pick up at your event. We’ll do our best to ensure supply and preferred sizes, but T-shirts are subject to availability. We are unable to ship T-shirts after the event.

All registered pancreatic cancer survivors are eligible to receive a special survivor T-shirt with no fundraising minimum required.

PanCAN PurpleStride Grand Club

The PanCAN PurpleStride Grand Club is a nationwide program recognizing Striders who individually raise $1,000 or more for their PurpleStride event.

Grand Club members receive exclusive PurpleStride gear as a token of our appreciation. Grand Club members are among our most dedicated and loyal supporters and we are so grateful! TOP 3 INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISERS

  • Lapel pins (for up to 20 members of your team).
  • Your team highlighted on PanCAN social media post event.


THE CHAMPION CIRCLE TEAMS PROGRAM

Deadline: Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PT

When your team hits specific fundraising levels for your PurpleStride event, you’ll be recognized as part of the Champion Circle and receive special benefits as an expression of gratitude.

Raise $2,500 for your PurpleStride event and be recognized as a Pro Team. You’ll receive:

  • Access to the official Pro Teams Tent on event day, where you and your team members can meet other teams who have hit Pro Team status.
  • A team sign customized with your team’s name.

Raise $5,000 for your PurpleStride event and be recognized as an All-Star Team. You’ll receive:

  • Your very own team tent with a banner featuring your team’s name.
  • A team sign customized with your team’s name.
  • Priority packing of T-shirts. 
  • A special giveaway on event day.
mvp badge  MVP TEAM

Raise $10,000 for your PurpleStride event and be recognized as an MVP Team. You’ll receive:

  • All of the All-Star Team benefits.
  • A swag box ahead of event day.
  • A personalized team sign with photo and special dedication.
  • Special treats in your tent (pending city restrictions and permitting).
  • 5 Reserved parking spots (pending city restrictions and permitting).
  • Event-day concierge service.
hall of fame badge  HALL OF FAME TEAM

Hall of Fame Teams are those who have raised the extraordinary amount of $100,000+ for their PurpleStride event.

On event day you’ll receive:

  • All of the MVP Team benefits.
  • Your Team Captain cutting the Start Line ribbon.
  • Special recognition at your team’s tent.

Post-Event Day:

  • Framed photo of your team mailed to you.
  • A personal phone call from PanCAN President/CEO or Founder.
  • A special highlight in next year’s national PurpleStride virtual kick-off event.


ACHIEVEMENT BADGES

Who doesn’t love an achievement badge? You can earn up to 13! Your badges will appear in your PurpleStride Dashboard and on your public-facing personal fundraising page as you earn them. Check out the types of badges you can earn below and log in to your Dashboard to start earning them!

You can get started with these four easy steps:

  1. Customize your personal fundraising page with your photo and your personal story. When family and friends know why you’re taking steps against pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride, they’ll be more motivated to support you.
  2. Connect your page to Facebook Fundraiser. Facebook Fundraiser creates a special page on Facebook where you can invite people to follow updates you post and to donate towards your goal. Striders who connect to Facebook Fundraiser raise 5 times more than those who don't!*
  3. Download the PurpleStride app. The app is another great way to personalize and send pre-written messages through email, text, and social media. We have messages for you to ask for support, and to thank those who donated.
  4. Make a self-donation. If you haven’t already done so, donate to your own fundraiser. Striders who make a self-donation raise twice as much as those who don’t!
