We are excited to announce our emcee for PurpleStride Broward-Palm Beach, Camille Moses, is also a pancreatic cancer survivor!
Camille was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in March 2012. The first oncologist she saw indicated it was too late for treatment. Camille immediately got a second opinion at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and after 17 months of chemo she was able to go on chemo Holiday July 2013 where she remains today! Over 5 years No Treatment! Camille now advocates for Patients and Families. She shares her story to show “Living Proof” that good outcomes are possible and we must continue this fight.
