In honor of my beloved Dad, I’m running a half marathon to raise money to support PanCAN’s vision to create a world in which all patients with pancreatic cancer will thrive.
PanCAN was an essential resource in the days and weeks following my Dad’s diagnosis with stage IV pancreatic cancer in 2018. Every dollar you give funds life-changing programs for patients and their families, ensuring they receive essential services, resources, information, and support when they are urgently seeking help and hope. My Dad was determined to live with this disease and not let it define him. Thanks to PanCAN, he did just that for nearly 5yrs. True to his gentle and loving form, before he passed he asked that donations be made to PanCAN to ensure that others get the same support he and our family received after a devastating diagnosis.
