On Thursday March 28, Cohasset opens their 2024 softball season against Notre Dame Academy of Hingham, which is always a special game in our hearts. In November of 2021, our collective community lost Liz MacLeod to pancreatic cancer. Liz was first and foremost a loving mother to NDA senior Shannon MacLeod, and a good friend and coach to many of our Cohasset players and families through Cohasset Youth Baseball and Softball Association.
This year, in honor of this being the last season of high school softball for Shannon and many Cohasset seniors who played on Liz's teams throughout the years - Angelina Grimes, Isabella Kearney, Samantha Kearney, Leila Omran, Casey Nichols, Taylor Soderberg and Catherine Toomey - we'd like to fundraise for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) in Liz's memory.
Every dollar you give to PanCAN funds life-changing programs and services for patients and their families. Because of your support, patients and families receive essential services, resources, information, and support when they are urgently seeking help and hope.
We thank you for your donations.
Come out and watch us play Tuesday, March 28 at 4:00PM.
Freedom Field, 207 North Main Street, Cohasset.
May the best team win!!!
But in our common unity, let's make this a win for PanCAN in honor of Liz.
