Tom Niewald lived his life with purpose, kindness, and an unwavering sense of optimism. He was a devoted husband, father, veteran, and engineer who inspired everyone around him with his humor, warmth, and courage. After a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer, Tom passed away on October 30, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
To honor his life and continue the fight that meant so much to him, our family has created this fundraiser in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN). PanCAN provides critical funding for groundbreaking research, as well as resources and support for patients and families navigating this devastating disease.
Tom faced his diagnosis with the same strength, grace, and determination that he brought to every part of his life. We want to carry that strength forward by helping others who are still fighting. Every donation made in Tom's name will help advance research, improve early detection, and bring hope to families affected by pancreatic cancer.
