Nancy, also fondly known as Nan, Nance, Nano, Mum and Gammy, was a force. That’s how our close friend described her and it could not be more true. She was fiercely loyal, compassionate, kind, supportive and charismatic. Her energy and spirt were magnetic. Strangers wanted to know her and approached her regularly. She genuinely cared and she listened. Many people were beneficiaries of her insane generosity. She lived to help others and dropped everything in order to do so.
Her relationship with her husband (our dad) was like no other. They were (and will always be) soulmates. Their marriage was one that people dream of having. Dad supported her throughout her life and for the past 2 years when he relentlessly supported and invested his heart and soul into her fight against pancreatic cancer.

Nancy was a spitfire and had opinions. She requested that we not hold services stating that it was too much “fanfare”. It’s not what she wanted. My dad, brother and I knew her best and we are focused on upholding her wishes. Because of the amazing human she was, we would like to provide a way in which you can remember her. In memory of our loving wife and mother, please consider making a donation to PanCAN.
Every dollar you give funds life-changing programs and services for patients and their families. Because of you, patients and families receive essential services, resources, information, and support when they are urgently seeking help and hope. They need you now more than ever.
We are profoundly grateful for your generous donation.
