In honor of my loved one, I’m supporting PanCAN’s vision to create a world in which all patients with pancreatic cancer will thrive.
Tina was a force of nature. A fierce advocate for her 4 kids, a loving and devoted wife, and an endlessly supportive friend, sister, and aunt. When she was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2013, she exemplified every element of her fierce, strong willed, and courageous personality on her nearly 1.5 year long battle with the disease. Tina defied odds in every way they could be defied, and in her passing she left behind a huge community of warriors - friends, family, and even strangers - that took her life and legacy and continued to grow off of it.
This year marks 10 years since her passing, and if there is one thing Tina hated - it was pancreatic cancer (and the bitter melon juice she tried for a brief stint during chemo). In honor of her legacy and strength that’s lasted beyond her earthly existence, we’ve opened this memorial fund to raise awareness and funds to help other families during their battles, in hopes of eradicating the cancer for good.
