Maureen Elizabeth (Kelly) McLaughlin (63) of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025 after a courageous nine month battle with pancreatic cancer. She lived by a favorite motto "Aim so high you'll never be bored" and poured that spirit into the three pillars of her life: family, career, and service.
A devoted wife and mother, Maureen was present for every milestone and everything in between, welcoming friends and colleagues with the same generosity she showed at home. Professionally, she built a distinguished 40-year career in the pharmaceutical industry, rising from sales at Marion Labs to senior executive leadership. After nine years at IMS Health (now IQVIA), she led business units at Solucient and GfK, ultimately serving as Chief Marketing Officer and Global Head of Healthcare Innovation. She later returned to IQVIA to lead Client Service & Delivery and later became Senior Vice President and General Manager of Information Solutions. She cherished her work family and was known for her leadership, mentorship, integrity, and results.
Amid all her commitments and responsibilities, Maureen somehow always found time to give back. She volunteered for years with the Somerset Hills Soccer Club (including a term as president), the Pingry Alumni Board, and devoted 35 years to Kappa Kappa Gamma where she guided Lafayette College undergraduates with candor, care, and practical career support.
Maureen is survived by her husband of 36 years, Michael; her children, Connor (Victoria) and Lauren; her mother, Marie Kelly; her brother, James Kelly (Rose); brothers-in-law, John (Elizabeth) and Mark (Julie); sister-in-law Edie Nussbaumer; and ten nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, James Robert Kelly, in 2006.
