Our team is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in memory of our first Hersey girls water polo coach and parent of 2 former players, Rob Lindgren.
Rob was dedicated to growing the sport of water polo in Illinois, but especially in District 214. He created and organized our district aquatics programs for swimming and water polo. Rob did everything in the best interest of the sport and was completely selfless when doing so. He coached athletes from all 6 schools and wanted every program in our district to continue to grow and improve.
