In loving remembrance of Beth Hogan, who lost her three-year battle to pancreatic cancer in January, we are hosting a fundraising team (of two sisters) to fight this deadly cancer.
Sadly, Beth was not our only loss. In past years we have witnessed this terrible disease cut short the lives of friends (Brian Hanaburgh) and family members (Darrell & Rob Agee). This year alone, more than 64,000 Americans are expected be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. More needs to be done in the area of early detection and screening. PanCan is one of the leading organizations helping to fund an Early Detections Initiative.
To that end, during the month of September, the Hogan's Heroes team (of two sisters) will participate in a BIKE/SWIM challenge to support PanCan.
Our goal will be for each of us to complete a 64-mile BIKE RIDE (Maura) and a 15-mile SWIM (Laurie).
We hope your will support us in this endeavor.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
