Pancreatic cancer remains a disease with an overall extremely poor prognosis and low survival rates. I have cared for patients with pancreatic cancers for 30 years but became personally connected when a friend died from this disease at age 34 and my mother died within 6 weeks of her diagnosis. As with any disease, education, funding, and research are the cornerstones to effective diagnosis and treatment. For this reason I have decided to virtually ride from Ocean City, NJ to Oceanside, CA( 3215 miles) to help raise awareness and funding.
With your support, I’m hopeful to contribute to the efforts to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer.
Every dollar you give funds life-changing programs and services for patients and their families. Because of you, patients and families receive essential services, resources, information, and support when they are urgently seeking help and hope. They need you now more than ever.
Please make a gift of any size to get me one step closer to my fundraising goal and help PanCAN create a world in which all patients with pancreatic cancer will thrive.
Patients and families need us now more than ever.
I am grateful for your generous support. You have helped me reach my original goal. I’ve updated my goal. Please share with anyone you think might be interested in helping.
