My Mom died of Pancreatic Cancer about 6 weeks after her diagnosis. 12 years later, my husband Ron was diagnosed with the same cancer! We both were hopeful because he caught it earlier and 12 years had passed since my Mom had it. We figured they must have made some strides toward a cure. Well, not much. The cure rate had increased by 3 percent...in 12 years! When Ron died of Pancreatic Cancer I realized I had to do something to fight this awful disease. That's when I started to organize this annual walk. Since then I have met more people who have been affected by this terrible cancer. Research, awareness, and support is more important than ever.
We walk in honor of our loved ones lost to Pancreatic Cancer. We walk to give hope to those who are battling this cancer and those who are survivors. We walk to raise awareness and to support those who have been touched by Pancreatic Cancer. Please join us! Support us by walking with us or donating to our cause.
