On September 23rd, 2019, my father’s battle with pancreatic cancer came to an end. The news of his passing brought deep sadness to family and friends, but his memory lives on to this day bringing laughter and inspiration. His memory encouraged me to finish my first Ironman in Maryland 5 days after his passing.
5 years later, I am revisiting Ironman Maryland and collaborating with PanCAN to raise support and awareness for patients and families who have been impacted by pancreatic cancer. With our help, they will be able to receive essential services, resources, and information when needed most.
