On October 13th I will be running the Chicago Marathon in honor of my late dad, Mike Abrahamson, who passed away from pancreatic cancer just over a year after his diagnosis.
The marathon falls on what would have been his 64th birthday. As a way to honor and celebrate his memory, I will be running 26.2 Miles 4 Mike in support of pancreatic cancer research and support, a cause that is very important to my family.
With your support, I’m taking bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer, an awful disease that took my dad too soon.
Together, we will provide life-changing programs and services for patients and their families. Because of your generosity, patients and families will receive essential services, resources, information, and support when they are urgently seeking help and hope.
