Rabbi Steve Sager (z"l) and me, and Jen's mom, Leslie Parker (z"l)
My friend and teacher, Rabbi Steve Sager (z"l), and my mother-in-law, Leslie Parker (z"l), died too soon because of pancreatic cancer. It doesn't have to be this way.
Science can help people live longer. Science can find a cure. And until then, we can support those struggling with this terrible disease. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network got a 96/100 score and earned a 4-star rating on Charity Navigator. Every dollar funds life-changing programs and services for patients and their families. I've challenged myself to do a "70.3" half-iron triathlon at the end of May. 1.2 mile swim. 55 mile bike ride. 13.1 mile run. As I train and when I race, I'll carry Rabbi Sager and Leslie's memories in my heart, along with all those living with a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
Please make a gift of any size to get me one step closer to my fundraising goal and help PanCAN create a world in which all patients with pancreatic cancer will thrive.
I am grateful for your generous support.
