This December, I’m running the California International Marathon in honor of my dad, who is fighting pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer awareness is purple, but my dad’s favorite color is orange—so I’ll be racing in both. (Basically, I’ll look like a sunset running down the road in bright mixmatched colors and probably socks)
Training for a marathon is hard, but it’s nothing compared to the fight against this cancer. Every mile I run is for my dad, for our family, and for the countless others impacted by pancreatic cancer.
I’ve set up this page to support PanCAN’s mission to advance research, provide patient support, and bring hope to families like ours. There’s absolutely no pressure—just cheering me on means more than you know. But if you choose to donate, know that you’re fueling every step I take on this 26.2-mile journey.
Thank you for standing with us, for my dad, and for a future with more hope and more tomorrows.
