My Mom passed away from Pancreatic Cancer more than 17 years ago. She watched me run my first NYC marathon more than 20 years ago (she was a young Bubbe to my kids) and I ran on PanCan's inaguaral NYC marathon team 3 years ago (as a young Lola to Kannon) to raise money for PanCan. Last year I was a team member and mentor for the 2024 Marine Corps Marathon and this year I am running the Marine Corps Marathon to raise money again for PanCan and with PanCan's support I am trying to put together a team. This is the 50th Marine Corps Marathon and it is sold out but you can still secure a bib through their transfer program. Please message me if you want to be a part of my team. I am running in honor of my Mom and everyone else that has been affected by Cancer. There is still no cure for Pancreatic cancer and we still need better diagnostics and more research! I am going to keep running for PanCan until my age finally catches up to me (Hopefully never). Please help this very proud Lola/grandma raise money for a great cause!
