My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the end of last year. During this turbulent time, we have needed to rely on outside resources to navigate this new experience. This is why we turned to PanCan; not only is it dedicated to finding a cure, but it also guides patients to treatments and trials. They connected my mom to a clinical trial and multiple other treatment avenues. Their guidance is essential for navigating this scary time.
My family also had the privilege of attending the PanCan walk. Events like these show individuals and families that they are not alone. I received a bracelet from a stranger there that I wear very frequently. The ability to provide medical and emotional support is not possible without financial support. Which is why my family and I will be eternally grateful to Camp for making week five proceeds go to PanCan.
