PLEASE READ THROUGH..We know its long but important:
Dreams and Drivers normally has the car show at Red Hawk Casino but 2022 is not an option due to construction of their Hotel...So this year Denios Farmers Market, who has been personally impacted by Pancreatic Cancer, has offered up their location for the 2022 Car Show on SUNDAY JUNE 26,2022 from, 9am till 4pm.
Question #1: YES although there is no underground parking garage as usual, there is shade, food, beverages, beer, and music plus shopping.
Question #2: Car show cars will be INSIDE the market area
Question #3: Car show is open to ALL makes and models of cars, trucks, bikes, new cars and more (see category list for 2022). DUE TO THE LOCATION THIS YEAR. WE ARE LIMITED TO 100 cars in the Judge/Show area. Unlimted cars are welcome to Denios to participate and donate.
Question #4: Entry fee is still $20 to be judged, $10 for showing...everyone who wants to be in the show, will need to be in the staging area BEFORE 9am, or you will pay Denio's $5.00 entry fee. Specators are free...Denios will be open to the public so the foot traffic will be significantly more than that of Red Hawk Casino.
100% proceeds go to Pan Can Action Network! How? Because our awards have been donated this year by two D and D Sponsor. All sponsors and their information are on our website @www.dreamsanddrivers.com/sponsor
Question #5 REGISTRATION is the same as years past:
Payment is made directly through this campaign (follow link), OR in person the day of the show.
After you make your donation/registration via this campaign, you will receive an email. We also get one so there is no need to bring with you to the show unless you want to. IF you are donating more, ($20.00 or $10.00) please do email and let Kym know you are Judged or Showing. We appreciate your generosity and donating more to the charity.
Roll in is at 7:30am-9am, (there will be a designated staging area, and staff will have tables to check folks in, and as soon as you are checked in, you will be directed inside the Market to the show area).
JUDGING starts as soon as the cars are marked and the Judges ready...and will end at 1:00-2..Awards presented at 4pm.
CATEGORY list will be given at check in your envelope, and available at the Registration table..it will also be posted on our website and social media pages.
You are only allowed to choose ONE category. When you complete your dash plaque (which is in your envelope), choose ONE category at that time.
Emphatically there will be NO moving your car once you are parked. If you want to park with your friend roll in together, otherwise, staff will park you and you will remain there... Safety first.
Coolers are allowed, but NO alcohol. Bring your water and fluids, but no outside alcohol.
PLEASE obey our Staff regarding parking and placement of your vehicle. Our staff have been parking cars and running shows and cars and coffee events for over 15 years, trust them and please listen.
PLEASE email Kym with any questions or concerns. (Kym@dreamsanddrivers.com)
Again, this car show is open to ALL makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles and we do have room for oversized and lifted and room for off-loading trailers.
CUTOFF to be Judged is Noon. You must arrive before that time if you want your car to be judged. ( remember you will also have to pay $5 to enter, but we will still take cars unless we reach our 100 car limit inside).
Again, this year, will also be a In Memory Station board, to send a note to PanCan Action Network and some information about screeing, and treatment and te
We hope everyone understands and is patient about the changes this year...We are grateful to Denios and Adrian for letting us do the show there. We hope to be back at Red Hawk next year.
"Dreams and Drivers is raising money to support Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in Wage Hope My Way. We set our goal this year of $10,000 even with the changes to the show.
Dreams and Drivers was formed as a Non Profit car club to bring awareness to certain charites, for Kymberly, Pancreatic Cancer was the top of her list, as the cancer took her Mother, Jolyne, in June 2011. This annual event is not only for Jolyne, for all the others whose voices were silenced and for all the grieving ones left behind.
There is no screening, no testing, and very little treatment and only a 3% survival rate. We are determined to make a difference.
We humbly thank Denios Market and thank them for hosting our event. Without them, the show would not happen.
