In November I will run the New York City Marathon with Team PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) in memory of my dad and in support of finding a cure for pancreatic cancer. My dad, Greg McDonald, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015 and fought hard through four years of treatment to enjoy more time with his family. He passed away in June 2019 at the age of 64.
As part of team PanCAN, I'm raising funds for research, patient services, advocacy for more federal funding, and awareness for a disease that is often overlooked. Please make a gift of any size to help PanCAN improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer. Every dollar you give funds life-changing programs and services for patients and their families. Because of you, patients and families receive essential services, resources, information, and support when they are urgently seeking help and hope.
New York City was where my dad and mom first met, at a St. Patrick's Day party in 1980. I am so excited to run the NYC Marathon in his memory, and I am so grateful to raise funds for an organization that helped our family when we needed it most and works to create a better tomorrow.
I am grateful for your generous support.
