In September 2001, our beloved mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Over the course of the next 15 months, mom fought this disease valiantly! Ultimately, she lost her battle on Christmas Eve 2002.  

This year (2023), the American Cancer Society estimates 64,050 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, while 50,550 will lose their battle. Pancreatic cancer accounts for 3% of ALL cancers, while causing a whopping 7%  of all cancer deaths in the U.S.
