Now for my selfless plea!  Pancreatic Cancer is a tough diagnosis. I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need your help to do it!

I’m joining Team Pops and my sister, Donna, who has been active with this organization for years.  We're taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

It's hard to believe I lost my Dad (Burt, Pop-Pop) to pancreatic cancer almost 19 years ago.  It's simply incredible that so much time has elapsed.  I miss him every day!!  Although there has been much progress in treating pancreatic cancer patients, there's a lot more to learn.  Your contribution will really help.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, free personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services, and more.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
