Support Research for Pancreatic Cancer!

On April 26, 2025, my family and I will be walking in the PanCan PurpleStride 5k. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with a stage 3 neuroendocrine tumor on my pancreas in September of 2023. All of my symptoms were masked by pregnancy and there were no warning signs. Julia had just been born and Emma was not even 2 years old. Many doctors told us there was no cure for this cancer and to consider making my final arrangements. Fortunately, we traveled the country and sought third, fourth, and even fifth opinions until we found our cure. I have been cancer free for almost one year now. It is not lost on us what a miracle this is. The simple fact that I can walk this event is something I don’t take for granted. 

Unfortunately, there are so many people facing pancreatic cancer that don’t have the resources or community support that I was blessed with. PanCan provides essential resources and information to patients and furthers critical research. I know that God wants me to use my experience to help others. We would love for you to join our team and walk! If you feel called to help, any donations to further PanCan’s mission are appreciated!

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
