Seventeen years ago, we lost my dad in just a few weeks to pancreatic cancer. And, as most of you know, just six months ago my husband was diagnosed with the same disease. This journey has been one of heartbreak, resilience, and unwavering support from the incredible people who have stood by us while Russ does battle: our family, friends, doctors, nurses, and every single person who has lifted us up in ways big and small.  What you may not know is the sobering statistics of survival.  This is where events like this are critical.

On April 26, 2025, we’re coming together in Boca Raton for PurpleStride, an important event to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research. With proposed cuts to the NIH threatening critical funding, private donations are more important than ever. Research saves lives - my husband is living proof. But we need more breakthroughs, more treatments, and more hope for the families still in this fight.  The fight against pancreatic cancer will always be present for us, because Russ' battle will continue.  

We’d love for you to be there with us in Boca! Walk beside us, donate, or simply help spread the word. Every step we take together brings us closer to a world where more families get to celebrate survivors, not mourn losses.  There needs to be more of us to keep spreading the word.
