Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in honor of my dad, Michael Adams. 

Since 2019, TEAM ADAMS has raised over $15,000 for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network thanks to all of you! 

When my dad got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2017 the 5 year survival rate was only 7%. That terrified me. Although he kicked cancers ass longer than we anticipated he lost his battle and I miss him more than anyone could ever imagine.
As of January 2025, the 5 year survival rate of pancreatic cancer has increased to 13%. It remains the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths.
Thanks to generous donors, PANCAN has been able to provide funding for research and initiatives that contribute to increased survival and continued progress in the fight against this tough disease.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
