Hello Family & Friends,

April 16, 2020, marks the 5-year anniversary of my beloved husband's passing due to pancreatic cancer.  The pain of his absence is still very real, but so are the memories of his deep faith in Christ, kindness, strength, service to others and love. I carry him with me every day, and his spirit continues to inspire me and our family. 

In honor of Tom, the Eagle Soars for a Cure Team will be joining forces with others to end pancreatic cancer by taking part in the PanCAN PurpleStride event at Dorey Park in Richmond on Saturday, April 26, 2025. I would love to have you as part of our Eagle Soars for a Cure team by registering to walk with us and/or donating. A gift of any size will help those desperate for a cure and in need of care.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
