Welcome to the Miles for Marc PurpleStride Team Page!

We’ve created this team to honor our incredible COO, Marc, who is currently facing pancreatic cancer. As a VEI family, we’re walking together to show our support, raise awareness, and help fund life-changing resources for those affected.

While this walk is in honor of Marc, we also walk for others in our VEI community and beyond—friends, loved ones, and colleagues who have been impacted by pancreatic cancer or continue to face battles with cancer of any kind. You’re not alone.

We’re taking steps at the PanCAN PurpleStride Richmond walk on Saturday, April 26, 2025, and we’d love for you to join us.

Every dollar raised helps fund:

    •    Groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research

    •    Free, personalized support for patients and families

    •    Advocacy efforts to improve patient outcomes

We’ve set a fundraising goal of $2,500, and Virginia Eye Institute will be matching donations up to that amount to help us reach it! We’ve already raised over $1,000!

Whether you walk, donate, or help spread the word, your support makes a difference. A gift of any amount brings us closer to better treatments, stronger support, and a cure.
