This is the 14th year for the Borrison/Hedden family team, raising lifesaving donations for PurpleStride Silicon Valley and the13th Anniversary for PSSV.  We are joining 59 other Purple Strides across the country on April 26th, 2025, for National Purple Stride.  We are grateful for this event to reach out to the community to raise awareness about this deadly cancer that has impacted the lives of so many of our friends and we join with PanCAN's vision - To create a world in which all patients with pancreatic cancer will thrive.

Our team has had many names over the years, stretching back to Walk Through the Vineyards, but this year’s name has been selected so that everyone who sees it will know that yes, there are survivors and yes, some people do even survive eighteen years. But surviving 18 years carries the responsibility to do all we can to see that this dreadful cancer cannot continue to devastate lives. Through advocating Congress for more federal research funding, accelerating progress through high-priority research, and through direct life-saving services to patients and their families, PanCAN has been leading the fight against pancreatic cancer for twenty-four years. We can personally guarantee that your donations will be used judiciously by PanCAN.  In fact, PanCAN has been awarded 4 stars by Charity Navigator for 20 consecutive years, a record matched by only 1% of charities.  And you have been making a difference too.  Your continuing support has seen the 5-year survival rate more than double, increasing from 5% eighteen years ago to 13% in 2025.

PurpleStride Silicon Valley is a heartwarming, inspiring event and fun for families and friends.
