Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Hello!

Welcome to Lewis Family fundraising page dedicated to the enduring spirit of Minda Lewis. Organized by her surviving children David and Aleta.

Our mother Minda was our hero. She was a force to be reckoned with, and had a generous heart of gold. She worked as a nurse for over 20 years until a breast cancer diagonsis guided her to retirement.

Tragically, in 2022, Minda recieved a diagonsis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer metastasized to her liver. She passed away a few months later, in January of 2023. This page stands as a tribute to her legacy as a devoted mother, family member, friend, coworker, and valued member of the community.

Our family commemorates her 2 year death  anniversary and, we unite to participate in PanCAN PurpleStride Silicon Valley on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Almaden Lake Park 5780 Almaden Expy San Jose, CA 95118.

PanCAN PurpleStride serves as a pivotal platform for PanCAN to generate crucial funds for groundbreaking research and provide free, personalized support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Our family has set an ambitious fundraising goal and would be deeply grateful for any contribution, no matter the size. We extend an invitation for you to join us in this meaningful endeavor. Simply click the Register button at the top of this page, follow a few straightforward steps, and be part of a cause that matters. Plus, those who register and raise $50 will receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2024 T-shirt.

Your support is genuinely appreciated.

With love, The Lewis Family
