Ten years ago, our world shifted. This time a decade ago, my family and I were walking alongside my mom, Ladonna, through the hardest battle of her life—her fight against pancreatic cancer. She was strong, brave, and unwavering in her spirit. A true warrior. The strongest woman I have ever known.

Ten years later, we walk in her honor. We walk for the memories, for the laughter, for the strength she carried, and for the legacy she left behind.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer—the 3rd leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States, with a five-year survival rate of just 13%. It is often diagnosed late, progresses rapidly, and still receives far less attention and funding than other major cancers. That has to change.

Through Ladonna’s Legacy, we are walking to raise awareness, support ongoing research, and advocate for earlier detection and better outcomes. We walk for every family that has heard the words "there’s nothing more we can do." We walk because my mom didn’t get enough time—but her story still has power.
