Welcome to My PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

For my wife Kathy Miller Braier who died in July 2021 after an almost 4-year battle with pancreatic cancer, and the thousands like her who have had pancreatic cancer, I will walk in PanCan’s “PurpleStride” in less than 3 days, April 26th.  I ask you to walk with me (now indoors at WCTC), or donate to the cause.

PanCan helped Kathy when she was first diagnosed by educating her and most importantly giving her hope.  They also have a unique program called “Precision Promise” that coordinates clinical trial research throughout the country to serve as a catalyst to accelerate pancreatic cancer drug development, de-risk industry participation, increase clinical trial enrollment and transform the way clinical research is done for pancreatic cancer patients.

Kathy & I did the annual Purple Stride walk until Covid 19.  I continue this in Kathy's name which this year will be held indoors April 26th at WCTC Building S, 800 Main Street in Pewaukee on Saturday morning April 27th.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
