Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page in honor of my SIL, Chris Hable Filo!!

Thank you for supporting our PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser in honor & memory of our sister, Chris Hable Filo.

Gosh - this is the 5th PurpleStride since we lost her!  She left behind a wonderful husband and 2 boys.  Since she's been gone, both boys have graduated from college and are making their way in the world.

We're taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
