November 23, 2021 Dad was diagnosed. And our world changed. I am so grateful for all the amazing people we met over the next two and a half years who helped us in one way or another. All the doctors, nurses, technicians, clerks… at FortHealthcare, Froedtert, Rainbow Hospice … the list goes on. Dr. Evans taught me so much in this time. I am thankful for each extra moment we all were able to spend with Dad. May 1, 2024 Dad peacefully went to heaven. 

I pray for a cure for all cancers. Let’s do this together! Supporting this great organization so they can continue their research is huge!!!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
