My wonderful sister-in-law Kori Konopka needs our help to kick cancer to the curb! Kori is my husband's youngest sister (age 54) and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2025. Kori has always been positive, upbeat, and a fighter.  She has a huge heart and is one of the funniest people I know.  I am happy to be helping her raise money to fight this most serious disease. 

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, in Milwaukee Wisconsin on Saturday, April 26, 2025. PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
