In 2010, the co-founder of Lauren?s Face the Day Spa, Alan Sales, was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, a disease with a less than 11% survival rate and few treatment options. The Lauren's Face the Day Family decided we would do our part to help and 

'Lauren's Purple Day Event' was created. Although Alan lost his battle in 2012, Lauren?s Face the Day continues the fight by hosting the fundraising annually. Endless love and effort are poured into this event and it shows. We have raised over $50,000.00 for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and we are committed to making a change. Our fundraiser?s success is directly tied to donors like you.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
