Our team is devoted to keeping Jim's spirit alive and helping save others from the horrific pain that Jim suffered.  He was such a great husband, father, son, friend.  And think about what a great grandpa he would have been!  If we can help one child to know his/her grandpa, that would be worth all the hours of planning and walking and asking for donations.  Please help us to conquer this deadliest of cancers.  Thanks!  I like to think Jim would be proud of us--but I know he would be mortified to think of me begging friends for money!  Won't you give anyway?  :-)  Thanks, Gayle

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
