Walk on April 25, 2026 with Team Julie

Julie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the fall of 2016.

Nine years later, she is still striding along.

The PurpleStride is PanCan's major annual fund raising initiative.  PanCan has helped me navigate the long road of walking beside Julie.  PanCan has also helped with encouraging clinical trials of new treatments for pancreatic cancer.  

Julie is in her third clinical trial since the cancer returned in 2020.

The support of many friends has been an important part of the past nine years.  I am grateful for that support and for the services that I have received from PanCan as we came to new detours along a very long path.

I would love to have you walk with Team Julie on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
