PanCAn Purple Striders 2025

I am fundraising for PanCan PurpleStride Sacramento 2025 in memory of our  daughter Christie Norton-Eizenbeisz and now also a good friend Kim Ponte (who lost her battle with Pancreatic Cancer on January 8th, 2025). We will be taking a powerful step on April 26th, 2025 to raise funds and awareness of this terrible disease. The 5 year survival rate is still holding at 13%. Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
