I'm raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in PurpleStride. My mom died in 2026 from pancreatic cancer after a 2-year long battle.

PanCAN is the leading organization dedicated to advancing progress against pancreatic cancer for patients today and in the future. We are the only national pancreatic cancer organization to fight the disease on all fronts – through patient support, research, advocacy, and community building. 

When my mom was diagnosed, the five-year survival rate was 4%. Today, through PanCAN's efforts, it is now 13%. By making a donation on this page, you are supporting efforts to bring the five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer to 20% by 2030!

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
