Celebrating David's Life and Legacy - April 25, 2026

Dear Friends and Family,

David’s Daredevils is lacing up once again for PanCAN’s PurpleStride 5K on Saturday, April 25, 2026. As we step into our next decade of honoring David’s life and legacy, we remain overwhelmed with gratitude for the love, strength, and support you’ve given our family. David’s babies are now grown, and though time has moved forward, our commitment to this fight—and to him—remains unwavering.

We would be honored to have you with us again this year. Here’s how you can be part of David’s Daredevils:

Join Us in Person: On April 25, we’ll gather at the Seaport District in Manhattan for a beautiful day of remembrance, celebration, and purpose. It is truly a special experience—one filled with community, hope, and the power of showing up for families like ours.

Make a Gift: When David was diagnosed, the 5-year pancreatic cancer survival rate was just 5%. Today, thanks to research, advocacy, and countless acts of generosity, it is 13%. Those numbers represent real people—real families—who are getting more time, more milestones, and more memories. We never forget that David is part of the story of why this progress matters.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
