Purplestride 2025

This year PurpleStride Hampton Roads will be on April 26, 2025 at Neptune Park, at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach.

Join our team: Team Kick P.C. to help raise awareness and funds to fight Pancreatic Cancer again this year.  This will be our twelfth year and we want to make it the best year!  When I was diagnosed in 2010 at the age of 55 the survival rate was 6%, but through funding for research, developing more effective chemo treatments, and better early detection and awareness the survival rate has increased to 13%.  That's not enough!  We can do better! With your support, we can mitigate the third most deadly cancer and give hope to others!

Please join us or form your team and join the fight!

Thank you!

John O'Grady; 14-year survivor!

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
