It's time for PurpleStride 2026!

This is my tenth year participating in PurpleStride.  I got involved for the first time in 2017, a year after losing my mom to pancreatic cancer.  At the time, the five-year survival rate was a mere 6%.  We're still waiting for this year's numbers, but as of last year, that figure has more than doubled, to 13%.  There's still a long way to go, but I'm amazed at the progress that has been made, thanks in large part to PanCAN -- and your support -- in such a short time.

Since that first PurpleStride, I have also lost a dear family friend to this disease.  I have also known someone who was diagnosed, treated, and is now a five-year survivor -- hopefully, there will be many more stories like hers in the future.

Your support will help PanCAN continue their work, so that hopefully there will be many more success stories in the years ahead.  Many of you have been so generous over the years. I am incredibly grateful for your support in years past, and if you choose to contribute this year.
