For my Mom, my Cousin, and Countless Others

I'm raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in PurpleStride on Saturday April 27th, 2024!

I do this for my mother who was diagnosed on November 22, 2016 and lost her battle on January 6, 2018. I also walk for my cousin Sharon who lost her battle January 2020.

Since my mom was diagnosed I have known many others who have faced this diagnosis and many who have lost their battles.

I will continue to fight for advancements in the treatment of pancreatic cancer to increase life expectancy and to see more people win against this cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
