Dear friends and family,  

It's no secret that our family has been broken by pancreatic cancer, and while I'm not big on fundraising, this is one cause that is so very near and dear to my heart, so I am once again hitting the pavement, literally, to help raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer Research.  On April 25, 2025 Donna, Johnathan and I will be participating in Purple Stride Wisconsin in Waukesha. I know for a fact that most of you on my friends list have been directly affected by Pancreatic Cancer and I am asking you to prayerfully consider making a donation to help in funding the efforts for future screening, treatment, and God willing a cure for this deadly disease.  Please believe I do not ask this lightly as Johnathan and Donna are at very high risk. We've made some good strides in the last 12 years, but there is still a long ways to go and any donation will bring us a step closer to improving the 5 year survival rate.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
