PanCAN PurpleStride is the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer. Every dollar raised will help create a world where everyone affected by pancreatic cancer will thrive.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, I will walk with survivors, families, caregivers, friends, physicians and researchers at PanCAN?s biggest fundraising event of the year. 

This is my 11th year participating in PurpleStride. In 2015 I participated for the first time to support Molli Richwagen, who had pancreatic cancer. Molli was a young, married woman and daughter of one of my best friends. Unfortunately, she lost her battle to this deadly disease on March 31, 2016, just before her 34th birthday. 

On November 24, 2024, I also lost my father to pancreatic cancer. Never did I think that my own family would be affected by pancreatic cancer. But as you can see, anyone can be affected.

I will continue to support PanCAN and participate in PurpleStride to honor the memory of my Dad and Molli, along with everyone that has been affected or lives that have been lost to this disease.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
