Over the past decade, the five-year survival rate has reached double digits in 2020 and increase to 13% in 2024. You’ve helped drive this increase by supporting PanCAN’s large-scale research initiatives, advocacy efforts and programs to help patients navigate their cancer journey. That momentum brings hope, but there’s more work to be done. 

 

Without you, PanCAN wouldn’t be able to be there for patients and their families. You fund the progress we make – it’s that simple. PanCAN receives no government funding and relies on the generosity of donors like you to keep our critical programs running. We’re grateful to have you by our side. 

 

Now our most important work lies ahead of us. Let’s work together to achieve our bold goal of reaching a five-year survival rate of 20% by 2030. It’s in our sight and you have the power to help us get there.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
