Hi, folks!

I'm taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in memory of my precious mama, Lupe Frayre, who lost her three and a half year battle on April 19, 2024. 

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients - and I need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Here's where you come in! I have a personal goal of $1,000 which will go toward an even bigger team goal of $5,000. Any amount is greatly appreciated. And anyone is welcomed (and encouraged!) to join our team, both near and far. Lupe was loved by many and what an honor it would be to have a team made up of friends and family from across the state, nation and GLOBE.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
