HUGS FOR HEATHER

My lifetime friend Heather was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October 2021. She was dedicated to educating others about this disease. She encouraged others to stay positive and fight. Her family, friends and so many others first handed experienced her in action at previous PanCan walks, as she spoke to the crowd about her own experience. Heather is the bravest and most positive person I know. She never gave up which proves how ugly this disease is. In honor of Heather Miller please consider donating or walking with our Hugs For Heather team. Heather will always be in our hearts and the most beautiful angel looking over us. About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
