Thanks for supporting Julie's Village!

This team was created to honor my mom, Julie — a woman who had a quiet superpower for bringing people together. Family, friends, coworkers, neighbors… if you knew her, you were part of her circle. Walking in her honor feels like a way to keep that spirit alive.

We’re proud to take steps as a community she built to support PanCAN’s PurpleStride, the biggest event of the year helping fund research, support families, and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

We’ve set a big team fundraising goal because we want to make an impact worthy of her legacy. If you feel called to donate, every single gift (no matter the size) fuels research, resources, and real support for families navigating this disease.

You can donate directly to the team, or choose a team member if you want to support someone personally, either way, it all moves us closer to the goal.

And if you’re in Kansas City, we would love for you to join us in person. Julie had a way of making everyone feel welcome, and we’d be honored to walk alongside anyone who loved her or wants to support the cause.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
