Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser! The Purple Promenaders are eager to get out there and show our support for our dear friend Jennie!

We lost Jennie to this awful cancer on February 14 of 2025. She courageously battled PanCan for 3 years! She wanted to live her life to the fullest while searching out the latest and greatest in treatments to keep her cancer at bay. She traveled to the Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic, U of M in Ann Arbor and to a smaller hospital in Grand Rapids for all sorts of treatments. Jennie wasn't going to let this diagnosis stop her from living her life. She also went on many family adventures crossing the ocean to visit the UK and going south to the Dominican Republic. She loved visiting the Great Lakes and spending time with her family and friends.

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
